What’s a Zenergy Pass? All block bookings come with a free Zenergy Pass giving you a range of discounts off local partner businesses – providing you with even more Zen & Energy. Full Details here. The pass is valid for discounts during the length of your block booking – I will add these dates to your pass and give you your Zenergy Pass on the first class of your term.
What happens if I have to miss a class during my block booking window?
Please let me know at least 2 hours before the class is due to start so I can offer your place to someone else. Unfortunately there are no cash refunds possible for missed classes, instead I run a courtesy class swap system for block bookings. This means that if you are ill, kept at work, or on holiday and will miss one of your classes, you can swap your class to a class on a different day or time. You can even ‘make up’ a class in advance of you being absent! All swaps must be booked in advance and can’t be carried over to subsequent courses.
What if I want to join and buy a block booking after term has started?
If you join the term after it’s started you can still get the block booking discount if you buy the remaining weeks up front. I cater for all levels and experience so don’t worry if you need to join later in the term you are still very welcome.
How do I book and pay?
Simply click on the Book Now button which will take you through to my online booking system which is powered by ‘BookWhen’ a widely used online booking system and I use Stripe the online payment platform for credit card payments. Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards and has obtained regulatory licenses around the world. You can pay by cash by arrangement if you pre:
Where are the venues?
Two lovely church halls with wooden floorboards, cosy heating and most importantly free parking!
St Paul’s Church Hall: Wooburn Town, Town Lane, HP10 0PW
Directions: Travelling along Town Lane towards Bourne End, turn left when you reach The Bell pub and the hall is on your right (next to the Church). Parking available outside the hall or on Town Lane.
Holy Trinity Parish Centre: Church Gate, Cookham, SL6 9SW
Directions: Travelling into Cookham over the bridge, you’ll pass The Ferry pub on your left, turn right just past the pub into Church Gate, pass the beautiful old houses and the Church will be on your right. The Parish Centre is straight in front of you, parking is on your left just before you get to the centre – there’s parking for 30 cars.
What should I wear?
For all classes wear something you feel comfortable in – not too loose but not too restrictive. For Zen and Energy Pilates we tend to work in bare feet to create more resistance on the mat or socks.
What should I bring to class?
You don’t need to bring anything but you may wish to bring some water and for the Zen class you’re welcome to bring a blanket for the relaxation part.
Do I need to bring a mat?
For classes that require a mat, I provide them. If you prefer to bring and use your own then no problem to do that. All equipment is supplied.
How old / active do I need to be to attend a class?
You must be over 18 years of age to attend our community classes. There is no upper age limit, but if you are over 65 and do not currently undertake regular physical activity it’s recommended you talk to your doctor before commencing an activity program. Everyone completes a health questionnaire before class to assess suitability, if you are unsure about your ability to partake based on any health challenges, please drop me a line and we can have a chat.
What if I am pregnant/recently gave birth?
Please note that classes are not suitable for pregnant ladies or those that have recently given birth – please contact me for further details if you have any questions.
