How to actually enjoy exercise

Really enjoyed this article giving different perspectives on what makes people enjoy exercising and therefore stick with it. Worth a read but in summary: you have to find something you love, have a goal and celebrate your progress. Particularly loved the Pilates section (of course) and these quotes resonate:

‘The moment I realised exercise is simply movement’.

‘The harder I work the clearer my head is’.

‘I got hooked on the post workout endorphin rush’.

‘It’s about having a tangible goal of getting stronger’.

‘Having a good workout is not determined by how broken I feel at the end of it.’

‘Physical activity isn’t supposed to cause anxiety, it’s meant to be fun’.

‘Exercise makes me feel strong and in control’.
